Santorini Rent a Car and Moto Rental - Terms

Kindly read the VIP Cars rental terms and conditions carefully before booking your Santorini car rental vehicle.
General Santorini Rent a Car Conditions:
|
1 Driver’s Age: Drivers must be at least 21 years old for car categories A, B, and C, and at least 25 years old for all other categories.
2 Driver’s License: Drivers must have an international or domestic driving license for at least one year.
3 Rental Period: The minimum rental period is 1 day (24 hours). Every additional hour is calculated at 1/5 of the daily rental rate.
4 Traffic Fines: All traffic fines and penalties incurred during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter.
5 Fuel: Unleaded only. Fuel is paid by the renter.
6 Taxes: A local tax – 24% VAT is added on the rental rates.

7 Delivery & Collection: Free throughout the island, by requesting our Santorini Port and Santorini Airport Rent a Car services. Delivery and collection of the rental car can also be made at your hotel. An additional € 15 is charged for Santorini car rental deliveries or collections between 22:00 and 08:00. In case of different drop off point extra charges 15,00€ will be applied.
8 Availability: Provided according to booking. If a problem arises in the delivery of your requested Santorini car or motorcycle rental, which happens on very rare occasions, we may have to supply a different vehicle.
9Ferrying off Santorini Island: You are not permitted to take the rental vehicle off the island of Santorini.
10 Motorcycle & Scooter Driver’s License: Drivers for motorcycles or scooter only with valid international or european driving license with moto stamp accepted.

Insurance Policies
Rental rates include the following coverages a) Death or damage to third parties 490.000 euro b) property damage to third parties (excluding DROSSOS CAR & MOTO RENTAL car up to 100,000 euros. Coverage theft and fire of DROSSOS CAR & MOTO RENTAL
Extra Insurance Coverage
The Damage Waiver (C.D.W.): Renters completely exempt from liability for any car damage over (300.00 up to 1000.00) depending on the Euro class, as long as they accept its terms of our contract with their signature and pay:
- 10 euro per day for categories A-B-C (300) euro exemption.
- 15 euro per day for categories D-S-L-E, W3-W4-W5, G1-G2-G3-H3 (600) euro exemption.
- 25 euro per day for categories W1-W2, N6, G4, H1, H2, H4 (1000) euro exemption.
If the customer wishes Damage Waiver (SCDW) with 0 € exemption should paid:
- 20 euro per day for categories A-B-C
- 30 euro per day for categories D-S-L-E, W3-W4-W5, G1-G2-G3-H3
- 50 euro per day for categories W1-W2, N6, G4, H1-H2, H4
A prerequisite to cover the CDW CDW OR SCDW is driving under the highway code. And the driver is registered in the contract.
The lessee whether it has accepted the CDW OR SCDW obliged to pay any damage or replace destroyed tires, rims as well as damage to the bottom of the rented motor car and crystals.
